Where Are Your Clients Moving To?

Some Highlights:

  • For the 4th year in a row, the Northeast saw a concentration of High Outbound activity.
  • Oregon held on to the top stop of High Inbound states for the 3rd year in a row.
  • Much of this Outbound activity can be attributed to Boomers relocating to warmer climates after retiring.

This is great info, but how does it affect your business? Should this affect your business? And, does #8 on the move-in list have anything to do with anticipated election results?

Regardless, knowing this may influence your outbound business programs. In other words, are you helping a client sell their home and they happen to be moving from NJ to SC? I believe, at the very least, you might want to garner business relationships with other professionals in the “Move-in” states and be prepared to help facilitate their move with points of contact at their destination. Full service, baby!
